Resources and Opportunities | | |
The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) has published the paper, "Centering What Matters: Aligning Action with Individual and Community Health Goals." Across health care, public health, and health sciences, decisions are often driven by institutional priorities rather than the goals of individuals and communities.
Individuals and communities are often treated as passive recipients and not active partners.
That is why a centering what matters approach is so important.
