The Board of the Institute of Patient-and Family-Centered Care is thrilled to announce that Julie Ginn Moretz, MPH has been selected as the incoming IPFCC President and Chief Executive Officer. She will assume this role in January 2027.
Julie brings more than three decades of experience as a family leader, healthcare executive, and nationally recognized champion for patient- and family-centered care.
This toolkit focuses on strengthening Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) so they better reflect the communities hospitals and health systems serve. The toolkit addresses how to evaluate PFAC representativeness, support equitable recruitment, create a sense of belonging, and engage PFAs as partners in health equity. It includes a PFAC assessment to identify strengths and areas of opportunities, an action plan for improvement, promising practices and examples, and practical tools to support meaningful patient and family partnerships.
